Base Salary
$164k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate scaling, monitoring, and operations.
- Build self-service tools for the engineering team.
- Design and support cloud infrastructure using automation.
- Develop processes for security, scalability, and availability.
- Collaborate with product development engineers on service design.
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues based on trust and expertise.
Requirements
- More than 2 years of cloud and infrastructure experience.
- Strong development experience in Ruby, Go, or similar languages.
- Experience in a DevOps/SRE/ProdEng role supporting web services.
- Proven ability to communicate and partner effectively with teams.
- Experience with containers and orchestration tools.
- Background in managing highly-available public cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience with relational or no-SQL databases and common service components.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and testing platforms.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
- A positive attitude and a collaborative mindset.
