Base Salary
$136k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the exploration, design, and implementation of features for ML platforms, pipelines, and services.
- Develop and deploy machine learning solutions, APIs, and services using Docker and Kubernetes at scale.
- Build ETL pipelines and inference services using LLMs and text-generation models in production.
- Manage the machine learning lifecycle, including data processing, model fine-tuning, deployment, evaluation, scalability, and observability.
- Apply supervised and unsupervised machine learning, natural language understanding, and information retrieval to HR and Finance text data.
- Design and launch cloud-based machine learning architectures and collaborate with product managers, application teams, engineers, and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, computer science, physics, or mathematics, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience building machine learning products from applied research through production at scale.
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience developing production ETL pipelines and inference services using LLMs and text-generation models.
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience with Python and supporting libraries in production.
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience with data engineering, data wrangling, Pandas, PySpark, Kubernetes, Docker, and scalable machine learning systems.
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience building information retrieval systems.
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
- Deep understanding of statistical analysis, supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, and natural language processing for information retrieval or recommendation systems.
- Clear and effective communication in cross-functional settings; a Master’s or PhD is preferred.
Benefits
- Annual base salary range of $160,000–$240,000 for the primary Pleasanton, California location; additional US locations have a base range of $136,200–$240,000.
- May be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or role-specific commission/bonus and annual refresh stock grants.
