Responsibilities
- Create and curate technical content including tutorials, blog posts, videos, and code samples.
- Engage with the developer community, build relationships, and foster an ecosystem around OpenAI technologies.
- Collect and organize developer feedback to inform the product roadmap.
- Represent OpenAI at developer events and online forums and serve as an approachable platform ambassador.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, research, and API teams to drive adoption and developer success.
- Contribute to OpenAI’s developer surfaces and build tools, demos, and sample applications for the OpenAI API.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack engineering background with experience building with AI and LLMs.
- Proven experience engaging developers, helping them succeed with API-based products, and building developer communities.
- Experience creating documentation, tutorials, how-to content, technical content, and code for technical products.
- Ability to build high-quality demos, sample projects, developer tools, and code.
- Strong user empathy and appreciation for high-quality product experiences and attention to detail.
- Ability to own problems end-to-end, learn missing knowledge quickly, and work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment with loosely defined priorities or competing deadlines.
- Experience with or strong interest in AI ethics and safety.
