Responsibilities
- Own sprint-level QA activities, including test planning, story testability, test data, manual testing, exploratory testing, and story-level automation.
- Design and maintain reusable test cases covering functional, negative, edge, API, integration, and regression scenarios.
- Implement and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Postman, Gherkin, and Java.
- Track coverage, execution, defect leakage, pass/fail results, and automation stability for squad quality reporting.
- Lead squad-level defect triage, collaborate on root-cause analysis, and validate corrective actions.
- Participate in refinement, Agile ceremonies, retrospectives, beta support, and shift-left quality improvements.
- Coach junior testers and coordinate testing across squads when stories span domains or integration points.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3–6 years of QA experience in SaaS or similar environments.
- Experience with test planning, execution, functional testing, and integration testing.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Postman, Gherkin, Java, and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and shift-left testing practices.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with developers and manage multiple stories and integrations.
- ISTQB Foundation CTFL, CTFL-AT, CTFL-TTA, Agile Testing, DevOps Quality, or Test Automation certifications are beneficial.
