Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business problems suitable for machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets.
- Select algorithms and engineer features to improve model performance.
- Develop and train machine learning models using Python or R with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Integrate models into existing systems or develop applications using machine learning capabilities.
- Deploy, scale, and optimize machine learning solutions for large-scale datasets and real-time applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, business analysts, and other cross-functional teams.
- Implement model and data security measures and address bias, fairness, and privacy considerations.
- Maintain documentation covering model code, architectures, and parameters.
- Establish monitoring mechanisms for deployed model performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python or R.
- Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
- Ability to preprocess and analyze large datasets.
- Experience developing and deploying production machine learning models serving millions of end users.
- Familiarity with software development practices and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Preferred: experience with deep learning architectures and algorithms.
- Preferred: knowledge of big data tools and platforms.
- Preferred: familiarity with cloud services for machine learning.
- Preferred: publications or contributions to the machine learning community.
- Preferred: proven experience implementing, maintaining, and optimizing production machine learning models.
