Base Salary
$127k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and analysis of software system user interfaces.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate software requirements and models into solutions meeting customer, operational, and performance requirements.
- Lead software system-level analyses to identify risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Lead software engineers through code reviews to ensure alignment with requirements and standards.
- Lead product and process reviews for alignment with project plans and industry standards.
- Research and oversee implementation of current and emerging software technologies, tools, and frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience with front-end software languages, frameworks, and libraries.
- Foundational computer science knowledge and experience with object-oriented design and software patterns.
- Preferred qualifications include 5 or more years of related experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience for Level 4.
- Preferred experience includes Astro UX, software configuration management, software architecture and design, software life cycle management, Java, C++, Python, React, jQuery UI, OpenLayers, Spring Framework, Hibernate, RDBMS, MongoDB, REST, OpenAPI, Ivy, Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, AWS, and Azure.
- Familiarity with test-driven development, agile software development, DevSecOps, and CI/CD management.
- Experience with front-end software for control systems, embedded FPGA, low-latency deterministic systems, operator interfaces, control gimbals, ground antennas, or optical sensors.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required; TS/SCI is preferred.
- Successful candidates must satisfy the company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process and complete a technical assessment.
