Responsibilities
- Execute standard security solutions according to established playbooks for internal clients.
- Use authorized AI capabilities to accelerate vulnerability analysis, synthesis, and security documentation while validating outputs and protecting sensitive data.
- Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Analyze and correlate incident data to identify threats, vulnerabilities, probability, and impact.
- Support continuity awareness, training, education, and exercise activities.
- Apply reuse-first and AI-assisted practices to software development and security testing workflows while maintaining traceability and auditability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in security or software engineering and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Basic experience developing security engineering solutions.
- Working knowledge of authorized AI capabilities for security engineering workflows and strong validation and data-sensitivity practices.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code and security recommendations, escalating uncertainty appropriately.
- Demonstrable coding ability in one or more programming languages.
- Experience across software development lifecycle execution, including application resiliency, security, and practices such as CI/CD.
- Working knowledge of information and network security, IT risk management, and architectural concepts and patterns.
- Proficiency using approved tools to analyze incident data and support vulnerability assessment.
- Preferred: cloud, AI, or cybersecurity certifications; knowledge of code design patterns, coding standards, algorithms, and AI agent development.
- Preferred: knowledge of multiple programming languages, tools, and frameworks including Java, Python, and Terraform.
