Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Integrate real-time communication features using SignalR or similar protocols, APIs, WebSockets, and asynchronous programming.
- Collaborate with backend developers, designers, QA, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across device types.
- Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues while writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Manage application submissions and updates on the Google Play Store and Huawei Store.
- Stay current with mobile development trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Experience with Android development using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Retrofit, MVVM, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, and Material Design.
- Experience with API integrations, WebSockets, and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with third-party SDKs, hybrid development, and native development for different device types.
- Proficiency with Git, TFS, Azure, and version control practices.
- Understanding of Android UX/UI design guidelines.
- Experience with dependency injection tools such as Hilt or Dagger is desirable.
- Experience with JUnit, Espresso, Compose Testing, or XCTest is desirable.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum environments is desirable.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, adaptability, attention to detail, and ownership skills.
