Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications with OCI product leaders and service teams.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and operate scalable customer-facing cloud services.
- Automate common tasks to support continuous delivery and continuous availability.
- Deliver performant, scalable solutions and maintain development and production infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance, contribute to product roadmaps, and identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior team members and promote strong engineering quality and development practices.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of software industry experience working on architecture, system and software design, development, and delivery of highly scalable products and services.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent education.
- Understanding of the full product development lifecycle, including technical specifications, design, coding, releases, operations, and DevOps.
- Strong backend development experience in Java or a similar modern programming language.
- Familiarity with microservice architecture, distributed systems, SQL and NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as GitLab, JIRA, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Ability to identify innovation opportunities, manage technical debt, support continuous improvement, and maintain a solid security posture.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, interpersonal skills, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Previous experience with system monitoring, automation, and incident management tools is preferred.
