Base Salary

$108k - $205k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, customization, and deployment of Documentum applications using D2, xCP, Webtop, and custom services.
  • Develop and maintain Documentum workflows, lifecycles, job definitions, TBOs/SBOs, and custom components.
  • Integrate Documentum with enterprise platforms, APIs, and external systems.
  • Optimize Documentum repository performance, scalability, and security.
  • Support upgrades, environment migrations, and modernization of legacy Documentum applications.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across Documentum servers, repositories, and application layers.
  • Gather requirements and deliver solutions in collaboration with business analysts, architects, and infrastructure teams.
  • Ensure compliance with retention and regulatory requirements for document-centric processes.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to ECM governance, design standards, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on OpenText Documentum development experience, including D2, xCP, Webtop, Composer, and Administrator.
  • Strong proficiency in Documentum Foundation Classes, Documentum REST, Java, and related integration frameworks.
  • Experience designing and implementing workflows, lifecycles, metadata models, and document security policies.
  • Understanding of enterprise content management, information architecture, and document governance principles.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide clear, actionable solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-hosted Documentum environments or modernization initiatives is preferred.
  • Familiarity with OpenText Extended ECM, Captiva/Intelligent Capture, or other OpenText products is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and automated deployments is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for working across technical and business teams are preferred.
