Responsibilities
- Build the platform frontend using React and TypeScript for technically sophisticated operators.
- Create reusable components and workflows for configuration, validation, status reporting, error handling, and long-running operations.
- Integrate frontend applications with the control-plane API, including authentication, authorization, API contracts, and real-time status updates.
- Develop operational views for platform health, range connectivity, service lifecycle, operation history, failures, and recovery actions.
- Contribute to backend services, integration layers, supporting endpoints, and data-model evolution, preferably using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Implement frontend state-management and data-fetching patterns for asynchronous and event-driven behavior in a multi-tenant platform.
- Build component, integration, and end-to-end automated tests for critical operator workflows.
- Improve application performance, accessibility, security, observability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, network simulation, and SRE partners.
- Help establish frontend standards, code-review practices, release processes, observability, and documentation.
Requirements
- Strong experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Experience designing complex operator interfaces, administrative consoles, infrastructure-management products, or workflow-heavy applications.
- Strong frontend architecture skills covering component design, state management, data fetching, routing, forms, validation, and error handling.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful or similar platform APIs.
- Understanding of asynchronous and distributed-system behavior, including long-running operations, partial failures, retries, and eventual consistency.
- Backend development experience, preferably with Kotlin and Spring Boot, or the ability to become productive in that stack.
- Experience collaborating with backend engineers on API schemas and contracts.
- Strong unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, secrets handling, and secure frontend development.
- Experience instrumenting applications to diagnose failures across browser, API, and backend service boundaries.
- Strong product and user-experience instincts for simplifying technically complex workflows.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and operations teams.
