Base Salary
$134k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical architecture and delivery of a core software platform from prototype through production and long-term enhancement.
- Build production LLM and agentic applications using retrieval, agents, tool orchestration, context engineering, evaluation harnesses, and human-in-the-loop review paths.
- Integrate AI solutions with Procore, Salesforce, Bluebeam, ERP and finance systems, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Establish AI engineering standards for repositories, testing, model evaluation, releases, observability, consumption and cost monitoring, and security review.
- Provide technical direction to AI Engineers, Data Engineers, and Full Stack Application Developers.
- Remain accountable for platform adoption, operating cost, and extensibility after launch.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 8 or more years of applicable professional experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or related fields.
- Production experience with LLM application patterns including retrieval, agents, tool use, MCP or comparable tool-calling frameworks, and systematic evaluation.
- Deep understanding of cloud and data platforms; Azure and Databricks experience is preferred, including Azure AI Foundry.
- Strong technical architecture, production software development, platform ownership, and technical leadership experience.
