Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate backend services for usage and billing data.
- Collaborate with product, Finance, and engineering teams to enhance billing capabilities.
- Own features end-to-end, including requirements, design, implementation, and monitoring.
- Scale and harden systems as the Cloud business grows.
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.
- Improve tooling, observability, and development workflows.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for system reliability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in building and maintaining backend systems, ideally in Java.
- Understanding of core object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with distributed systems that require high availability and correctness.
- Comfortable working with databases in production environments.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity and motivation to solve real customer problems.
