Responsibilities

  • Drive DevOps practices across software teams.
  • Design, create, manage, measure, and continuously improve CI/CD systems, processes, and pipelines.
  • Support AWS, GitHub, and Atlassian administration, including access security and control.
  • Optimize cloud costs and develop new features and virtual environments.
  • Enable microservices architecture and support containerized environments.
  • Implement automation, Infrastructure as Code, observability, DevSecOps, secret scanning, code scanning, IAM governance, and security automation within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage cloud servers and support Linux and Windows machines.
  • Create images and custom operating system builds for virtualized environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • CREA registration or credential.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Programming experience with Python or TypeScript.
  • Bash/shell scripting skills, with PowerShell also listed.
  • Knowledge of AWS, GitHub, and Atlassian, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including Three Ways and CALMS.
  • Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, ASG, VPC, ECS, EKS, and S3.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability practices and tools including AWS X-Ray, CloudWatch, Grafana, logs, and alarms.
  • Experience with AWS cost optimization and FinOps practices.
  • Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
  • Experience with virtualization, image creation, and custom operating system builds.
  • Experience managing cloud servers and supporting Linux and Windows machines.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, secret and code scanning, IAM governance, and security automation in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
  • Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and ECS.
