Responsibilities
- Build and ship product features, agentic systems, integrations, data-layer capabilities, or platform infrastructure for Tacto’s procurement intelligence product.
- Work independently on projects and deliver customer-facing outcomes from day one.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, or Data Automation teams based on skills and organizational needs.
- Participate in a technical case study and contribute to cross-functional projects where appropriate.
- For product work, talk to customers, prototype, prioritize, and ship features; for design work, create patterns for supervising AI agents; for engineering work, build the platform, agentic systems, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced environment such as a startup, scale-up, or demanding technical project.
- A builder mindset demonstrated through shipped side projects, open-source contributions, AI-tool experimentation, or products used by others.
- AI-native working habits, including familiarity with tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, v0, or Lovable and an interest in building agents and automating workflows.
- Self-driven, naturally curious, and comfortable working without extensive hand-holding.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
- Alignment with Tacto’s mission of helping European industry remain competitive.
- Engineering candidates should be comfortable with TypeScript, Python, or a similar modern stack and have shipped projects.
- Design candidates should have a portfolio or shipped work demonstrating taste, systems thinking, and the ability to simplify complexity.
