Base Salary
$149k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core libraries, frameworks, and developer tools used across the engineering organization.
- Own and improve developer infrastructure for building and testing Android Automotive OS.
- Operate and maintain the Gerrit code review system supporting AAOS and Android platform development, with responsibility for reliability, scalability, and security.
- Develop and maintain automated code analysis, static analysis, and quality-gating tooling for large-scale AAOS codebases.
- Collaborate with Android, platform, and application engineering teams to improve code quality, build performance, and release workflows.
- Establish tooling and infrastructure best practices, standards, and development paths across teams.
- Act as the primary technical owner for developer tooling related to Android Automotive OS.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or a foreign equivalent.
- At least two years of experience as a Software Engineer, including at least one year working at an automotive technology company.
- At least 12 months of experience using C++, Python, ROS, Blaze, Critique, and gRPC/Protocol Buffers.
