Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimize, and debug video capture, encoding, playback, and rendering for Android.
- Innovate and implement video solutions in a 3D immersive environment.
- Collaborate with teams across Roblox to develop new video applications.
- Work on backend microservices related to video technology.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and debugging complex C++ applications on Android.
- Expertise with a variety of Android devices.
- Proficiency in Vulkan or OpenGL in performance-oriented environments.
- Strong knowledge of video compression and delivery, including AVC, HEVC, and AV1.
