Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure, platform services, and system architectures for 10X growth.
- Build self-service deployment automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions for application stacks.
- Develop roadmaps and vision for cloud infrastructure and platform services targeting 99.999% availability.
- Provide network, infrastructure, machine-type, deployment, role-management, CDN, domain, and cloud-security recommendations.
- Operate and optimize distributed production deployments across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Improve operational excellence, performance, scalability, reliability, system quality, and automation.
- Manage continuous integration servers and use monitoring and testing tools to optimize cloud operations.
- Influence multiple engineering teams through technical guidance, architecture artifacts, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, engineering leaders, and lead engineers on mission-critical projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 7+ years of total experience.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in cloud platform engineering, or equivalent experience with the stated degree requirement.
- 10+ years of experience in system engineering, Cloud DevOps, or Cloud SRE.
- 7+ years of experience leading system design and architecture using AWS or Azure services.
- 10+ years of experience building and operating infrastructure as code and scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
- 7+ years of experience building and managing high-performance, highly available hybrid-cloud environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Python or Go, and automated application-stack deployments.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, public-cloud services, infrastructure automation, and cloud platform engineering.
- AWS Advanced Architecting or Developing on AWS certification is preferred.
- Team leadership experience and excellent cross-group collaboration, verbal communication, and written communication skills.

- Base pay ranges from $174,000 to $299,000 per year, with an annual bonus opportunity of 0–20% of base salary.
