Base Salary
$99k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain embedded software for devices and systems while meeting customer, safety, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Translate customer requirements into embedded software product designs.
- Write software for specialized embedded hardware and integrate software with hardware components.
- Analyze, monitor, and improve the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
- Implement relevant technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes for software and hardware development.
- Advise on software and hardware integration domains.
- Track internal and supplier software team performance for compliance with project plans and industry standards.
- Perform embedded software project management functions.
- Develop and integrate software components with program partners and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience with embedded systems and/or software development using C or C++.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship under U.S. Government requirements.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science with 2+ years of related experience; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of directly related experience or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years in an Agile product development environment and 2+ years in the aerospace industry.
- Preferred: experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, JIRA, GitLab, Ansible, Artifactory, UML, SysML, Cameo, MSOSA, and automated testing.
- Secret clearance and access to Special Access Programs are preferred.
