Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain simulation tools and frameworks for validating robotics applications across varied operating conditions and test scenarios.
- Build high-fidelity virtual environments representing warehouse, manufacturing, and intralogistics operations.
- Develop scalable simulation architectures supporting large fleets of autonomous mobile robots.
- Enable validation of fleet management systems and robotics software without physical robots.
- Develop automated test scenarios, evaluation metrics, performance benchmarks, and regression testing workflows.
- Analyze simulated versus real-world system behavior and improve simulation accuracy.
- Contribute to a virtual lab for end-to-end robotics solution testing.
- Integrate simulation tools into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and continuous validation.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, systems engineers, and robotics teams on test requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Apply code reviews, unit testing, system testing, automated validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience using C++ and/or Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux-based development environments.
- Experience developing software for robotics, autonomous systems, or industrial automation solutions.
- Hands-on experience with ROS2, Gazebo, Isaac Sim, and Python.
- Experience with Git version control and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience with code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
