Responsibilities

  • Own MLflow experiment logging for assigned model runs and produce structured evaluation reports using standard metrics.
  • Validate training datasets through feature-distribution checks, label verification, and anomaly flagging before model training.
  • Build and train CNN-based image-classification and defect-detection models and contribute to evaluation and training-run analysis.
  • Package models with Docker, contribute to CI/CD scripts, run inference tests, and support deployment validation in product-development environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field; an AI major or strong research focus is preferred.
  • Fresh graduate to one year of experience; work experience is not required, but applicants should demonstrate ML project competency through a strong final-year project or thesis with a clear ML component.
  • Strong Python proficiency with NumPy and Pandas basics, plus foundational PyTorch skills for independently building, training, and evaluating a basic neural network.
  • Understanding of CNN architecture, surrogate modeling, active learning, MLflow experiment logging, Docker containerization, and standard model-evaluation metrics.
  • Self-directed learning ability and evidence of quickly acquiring new concepts; research internship experience is preferred.
  • Preferred exposure includes U-Net or ViT, uncertainty quantification, Bayesian methods, time-series or sensor data, reinforcement learning, RAG or other LLM projects, and AWS fundamentals.
