Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture and roadmap for Blue Yonder WMS across distribution centers and business units.
- Design, govern, configure, and optimize warehouse processes including receiving, putaway, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, yard management, and labor management.
- Define integration architecture between Blue Yonder, SAP systems, transportation-management systems, automation platforms, material-handling equipment, robotics, AMR solutions, middleware, and APIs.
- Lead interface design and troubleshooting for master data, inventory synchronization, order processing, ASN processing, shipment execution, and real-time warehouse events.
- Review implementation-partner designs and establish configuration, coding, deployment, modernization, and technical-debt reduction standards.
- Lead architecture for global implementations, upgrades, migrations, acquisitions, and warehouse-transformation programs.
- Facilitate technical and business design workshops, support project estimates and risk assessments, and ensure scalable and supportable solutions.
- Provide expert support for critical incidents and major production issues, perform solution health assessments, and improve warehouse performance and stability.
- Mentor solution engineers, developers, and business analysts and provide architectural guidance across projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of supply chain and warehouse-management experience.
- At least 7 years of hands-on Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS experience.
- Experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Senior Functional Consultant, or equivalent technical leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Blue Yonder WMS solutions.
- Experience leading end-to-end Blue Yonder WMS implementations and large transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and distribution-center processes.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, influence stakeholders, translate technical solutions into business outcomes, and support critical production troubleshooting.
- Ability to mentor technical team members and provide architectural guidance.
- Preferred: Blue Yonder WMS certification; Blue Yonder SaaS and public-cloud deployment experience; upgrade and migration leadership; Manhattan WMS or SAP EWM experience; warehouse-automation integration experience; consumer-products, manufacturing, or large-scale distribution experience; PMP, TOGAF, or similar certification; and global Americas-operations experience.
