Base Salary
$181k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate and deploy camera- and LiDAR-based perception models into Lucid’s centralized production software stack.
- Transition experimental perception components into production-ready modules with robust scheduling and diagnostics.
- Optimize real-time inference pipelines using CUDA, TensorRT, and mixed-precision techniques.
- Implement multithreaded scheduling and containerized deployments for automotive platforms.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for nightly deployments, hardware-in-the-loop verification, and KPI reporting.
- Automate data recording, evaluation frameworks, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with ML researchers, software engineers, hardware teams, OEM partners, and customers on integration and deliverables.
- Support SDK development and customer-facing deliverables.
- Implement runtime performance metrics, logging, and error reporting for perception-stack reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of software-engineering experience in perception or autonomous systems.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with experience in ROS1/2, OpenCV, and GPU acceleration.
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch and inference optimization using TensorRT and CUDA.
- Expertise in Docker, CI/CD, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and collaborate across teams.
- Preferred: experience with automotive perception systems and ADAS software stacks.
- Preferred: familiarity with ISO 26262 and ASPICE automotive safety standards.
- Preferred: knowledge of multithreaded scheduling and real-time performance tuning.
- Preferred: background in SDK development and automotive customer integration.
