Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned coding tasks according to specifications and deadlines.
  • Develop, modify, and support software and utility programs for SRAM Memory IP deliverables.
  • Resolve complex software issues and bugs by gathering and interpreting information from multiple sources.
  • Write readable code for large features and significant bug fixes.
  • Unit test code to verify feature stability and functionality.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility.
  • Collaborate with project teams, technical leads, managers, and internal or external users.
  • Prioritize project deadlines and deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Document software and hardware specifications to support knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with programming languages or tools such as Unix, shell scripting, C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, and SKILL.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of software development processes, engineering roles, project phases, checkpoints, and deliverables.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues, prioritize critical work, communicate clearly, and work with changing specifications.
