Responsibilities
- Model and mathematically represent competing demands to support scalable, real-time decision-making.
- Develop online algorithms that optimize system utilization while maintaining high service quality for riders.
- Design and implement efficient, scalable algorithmic solutions for large-scale operational systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to translate algorithmic insights into practical solutions.
Requirements
- M.Sc. or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Significant research background and hands-on experience developing algorithms.
- 3–4+ years of experience implementing algorithms in practical, production-scale systems.
- Strong analytical ability to convert complex real-world problems into actionable models.
- Hands-on coding experience with Python or a similar language.
- Curiosity, fast-learning ability, collaboration skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
