Base Salary

$300k - $300k/yr

Responsibilities

Apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to complex research domains.
Build flexible and reusable financial ML frameworks with researchers and quantitative analysts.
Optimize training pipelines for high-performance computing resources.
Integrate machine learning models into latency-sensitive production systems.
Develop large-scale ML systems that are observable, performant, and flexible.
Improve research productivity by reducing iteration cycle time.
Work across C, C++, Python, CUDA, and other low-level GPU languages.

Strong publication record at ICML, ICLR, AAAI, NeurIPS, UAI, KDD, or equivalent, and/or contributions to open-source AI research.
Strong general machine learning background with modern deep learning and/or language-modeling architectures such as transformers and SSMs.
Solid development skills in Python and/or C++.
Familiarity with PyTorch, JAX, and/or TensorFlow.
Ability to reason through quantitative problems and communicate effectively with trading researchers.
Intellectual curiosity, versatility, originality, pragmatism, and collaborative working ability.
Reliable and predictable availability.
Preferred experience with HPC, distributed large-model training, GPU performance optimization using CUDA or ROCm, and end-to-end model development.
International students must be eligible for CPT/OPT; work visa sponsorship is available for full-time positions.
