Responsibilities
- Lead manual and automated testing strategies covering functional and non-functional requirements for complex, high-risk features and systems.
- Integrate and optimize automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify quality risks early in design and architecture and embed quality practices across application teams.
- Develop scalable quality processes and remove organizational barriers to reliable software delivery.
- Automate and validate API endpoints and microservices, including RESTful and SOAP services.
- Champion quality advocacy, continuous improvement, and quality best practices across engineering.
- Coach and mentor junior and mid-level quality engineers and development teams.
- Define, track, and report quality metrics and KPIs for the functional area.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role, with significant software quality assurance experience in an agile environment.
- Expertise designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks using keyword-driven and Page Object Model approaches.
- Ability to apply risk-based testing and prioritize testing efforts effectively.
- Extensive API test automation experience, including RESTful and SOAP service validation.
- Experience coaching development teams on quality practices, testability, and shift-left approaches.
- Track record implementing and scaling quality processes that improve team efficiency and product reliability.
- Proficiency with Python and PyTest for test automation.
- Preferred experience with Robot Framework and/or Playwright.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, React, Google Cloud, Elastic Stack, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.
- Experience with performance, security, or accessibility testing.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
