Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and oversee software solutions for highly complex technical projects.
- Create detailed software specifications and lead technology roadmap planning.
- Lead and advise across the software development lifecycle with emphasis on quality and continuous improvement.
- Develop next-generation technologies in collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
- Monitor competitor products, development strategies, patents, and industry trends.
- Coordinate efforts across teams and organizational units to achieve shared objectives.
- Serve as a technical thought leader, spokesperson, consultant, and advisor for strategic projects.
- Mentor senior engineers and management and foster technical excellence and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 7+ years with an advanced degree.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Expertise in software architecture, system design, and scalable enterprise software solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of multiple programming languages and advanced software development methodologies.
- Experience adopting GenAI in the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and complete complex, high-impact projects.
- Strong strategic thinking, innovation, communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with intellectual property protection, competitor analysis, and industry trends.
