Responsibilities
- Design and implement GitOps-driven infrastructure on Kubernetes using ArgoCD.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for telco infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Build and optimize automated, auditable GitOps pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Manage containerized Kubernetes workloads supporting LTE/5G core and RAN services.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, application performance monitoring, and distributed tracing systems.
- Translate architectural specifications, interface control documents, and functional and non-functional requirements into production-ready code.
- Automate operational tasks and improve system reliability through declarative configuration management.
- Document infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with network engineers and software teams on infrastructure integration.
- Participate in occasional after-hours incident response actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of production DevOps/SRE experience.
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, GitOps, ArgoCD, containerization, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and declarative CI pipelines such as Azure Pipelines or GitLab CI.
- Networking fundamentals and scripting or automation experience with Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK, along with security and compliance operations.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above and the ability to collaborate in a globally distributed team.
- Preferred experience with advanced GitOps patterns, multi-tenancy, multi-cluster deployments, progressive delivery, Flux, service meshes, and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Preferred knowledge of RAN, 5G Core, LTE Core, BSS/OSS platforms, 5G SA/NSA, NFV, SDN, OpenFlow, edge computing, and network function testing.
- Previous experience at a telecommunications carrier or major telco vendor and relevant Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or telco certifications are preferred.
