Responsibilities
- Develop Flash Bootloader software for completed automotive ECU software.
- Implement communication protocols, diagnostic services, flashing, and security functionality based on AUTOSAR.
- Define and evaluate customer-specific flashing sequences.
- Analyze software requirements related to flashing and support customer problem solving.
- Debug communication using Vector CAN tools and perform Lauterbach debugging.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in automotive embedded software.
- Good coding skills in C and scripting languages such as CAPL and Python.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR COM, Diagnostic, and Security; UDS ISO 144229; and preferably Flash Bootloader experience.
- Familiarity with Vector CANcase usage, Lauterbach debugging, data structures, and algorithms.
- Preferred familiarity with Infineon Tricore, Renesas SOC, FlashEEPROM, embedded memory layout, CAN, CANFD, ETH, and FlexRay.
- Good oral and written English communication skills and ability to communicate daily with foreign colleagues and suppliers.
- Familiarity with software development processes and toolchains; knowledge of the V model is preferred.
- Chinese or Japanese language skills are optional.
