Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python- or Go-based software, libraries, and frameworks for Arduino platforms.
- Architect and deploy containerized applications using Docker.
- Design system-level tools and CLI utilities that improve interaction with Arduino hardware.
- Collaborate with Software Architects to define technical solutions and infrastructure.
- Maintain codebase consistency and quality through automated testing and code reviews.
- Work cross-functionally to improve Arduino applications and developer tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 4+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 3+ years or a PhD plus 2+ years.
- 2+ years of experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- 5+ years of software development experience is requested in the role profile.
- Experience with Python or Go and development of clean, maintainable, documented libraries, applications, or CLI utilities.
- Solid experience with Linux systems and Docker containerization.
- Bonus experience with cloud microservices, Kubernetes, AWS managed services, Linux OS integration, system-level scripting, Arduino or similar electronics, automated testing, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Equivalent experience may be considered when it demonstrates the ability to fulfill the role’s principal duties and competencies.
