Responsibilities
- Own macOS endpoint protection features from initial design through production release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and internal OS technical specialists on seamless integration.
- Research and adapt emerging technologies to improve the Cortex XDR product suite.
- Write design documents, software development guidelines, and engineering best practices.
- Use AI tools to improve development efficiency while applying critical judgment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing software with modern C++.
- Experience developing and maintaining complex software systems.
- Strong experience with multithreaded and multiprocess software development.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with OS internals and system-level programming.
- Design, architecture, and problem-solving skills.
- Practical experience using AI tools to support the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred: macOS software development experience, software security and vulnerability detection knowledge, Unix-style operating systems knowledge, and Swift experience for Apple platforms.
