Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and ship high-quality user-facing products and features.
- Own major parts of the codebase, set timelines, and lead project deliverables.
- Improve engineering processes, tools, systems, codebase scalability, and team productivity.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and analytics in a data-driven experimentation culture.
- Contribute to project estimation, planning, execution, and integrations.
- Maintain and elevate the existing codebase with clean, tested, high-performance code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with user-facing products.
- 3+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, React Native, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and Amplitude, or confidence and willingness to cross-train.
- Ability to independently take projects from idea through implementation and ship quickly.
- Interest in end-to-end product development across design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Startup or scale-up experience, interviewing familiarity, and enthusiasm for Nourish’s healthcare mission are preferred.
