Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and operate secure, scalable, resilient production software for PING ID solutions.
- Perform hands-on coding, solution design, code reviews, architecture governance, troubleshooting, and technical delivery.
- Build APIs, RESTful services, distributed systems, shared platform capabilities, and integration contracts.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security controls, and release automation.
- Collaborate with product, solution architecture, security, platform, and QA teams to deliver integrated digital solutions.
- Apply secure coding, unit testing, operational best practices, and enterprise governance requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, architectural direction, stakeholder communication, and knowledge sharing.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, team growth, and a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
- Support cross-platform initiatives through working knowledge of iOS development principles and mobile ecosystem standards.
Requirements
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience with ProofID, Java, JavaScript, JUnit, APIs, Docker, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes.
- Experience building production services, distributed systems, or shared platform capabilities.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs, RESTful services, integration contracts, and data or domain models.
- Experience translating requirements and ambiguous problems into designs, prototypes, and production-ready solutions.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, and identity management.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, token exchange, policy systems, delegated administration, or identity data modeling.
- Ability to use AI engineering tools for research, code understanding, prototyping, implementation, and documentation with sound engineering judgment.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly, collaborate across teams and time zones, and support engineers through feedback and knowledge sharing.
- Preferred experience with AI agent identity, non-human identity, MCP, agent skills, and other agent integration concepts.
- Familiarity with working across multiple codebases, teams, or product areas to deliver cohesive outcomes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, influencing, analytical, critical-thinking, collaboration, and customer-focused skills.
