Base Salary
$210k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship data normalization, schema mapping, validation, enrichment, and distribution pipelines.
- Write production code as a hands-on individual contributor.
- Take technical ownership from architecture through deployment.
- Define end-to-end architecture for an AI-native data warehouse.
- Make decisions on schema design, normalization strategies, and data distribution.
- Design and implement AI evaluation frameworks for financial data.
- Use AI-assisted development tools as a primary workflow.
- Set coding standards and architectural documentation for the team.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with Staff-level impact.
- A portfolio of shipped production systems with personal contributions.
- Strong hands-on experience with data pipeline or data warehouse engineering.
- Production experience with LLMs, including prompt design and output validation.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development workflows.
- Experience with AWS data infrastructure; Redshift experience is a plus.
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated code and outputs critically.
