Base Salary

$210k - $260k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and ship normalization, schema mapping, validation, enrichment, and distribution pipelines for a new intelligent data warehouse.
  • Write production code as a hands-on individual contributor and own architecture through deployment.
  • Define data platform architecture, including schema design, normalization strategies, API exposure, and data distribution.
  • Build AI evaluation infrastructure with cross-model comparison, deterministic validation, and human-in-the-loop review workflows.
  • Use agentic coding tools and LLM-assisted development as a primary workflow and help establish AI-accelerated software development practices.
  • Set coding, review, and documentation standards while mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated Staff-level scope and impact.
  • Portfolio of shipped production systems and demonstrated personal ownership of technical decisions and code.
  • Strong hands-on experience with data pipelines or data warehouses, including schema design, ETL/ELT patterns, normalization, and API-based distribution.
  • Production experience with LLMs, including prompt design, model orchestration, evaluation, and output validation.
  • Daily fluency with AI-assisted and agentic development workflows.
  • Experience with AWS data infrastructure; Redshift experience is a plus.
  • Strong written communication and ability to document technical designs for engineering and product audiences.
  • Ability to evaluate AI-generated code and outputs, including failure modes, regressions, and edge cases.
  • Preferred experience with RAG pipelines, vector stores, or document extraction systems.
  • Preferred background in financial services data, such as fund administration, investment schemas, or institutional reporting.
  • Preferred experience building data products or managed data services for external customers.
  • Prior technical lead or TLM experience on a new or early-stage product team is preferred.
