Responsibilities
- Build services for fleet provisioning, health checks, upgrades, and incident remediation.
- Embed observability, graceful degradation, and rollback paths throughout the infrastructure stack.
- Design and evolve a high-throughput, low-latency network fabric.
- Develop clean, testable software, primarily in Go, that treats the fleet as a first-class API.
- Improve infrastructure utilization and power-to-performance ratios.
- Partner with product, infrastructure, and platform teams on storage-aware scheduling, cache volumes, and other developer-facing features.
Requirements
- Proven experience engineering large-scale infrastructure software that runs fleets.
- Deep experience with network architecture, data-center design, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing compute hardware at scale, including servers and switches.
- Fluency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible, with sound judgment about building versus buying tools.
- Track record of delivering reliable systems and measurable efficiency improvements.
