Base Salary
$104k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, assess, and analyze modeling and simulation capabilities for training, analysis, and mission planning or rehearsal.
- Develop and implement software engineering changes and recommend solutions that optimize technical performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary development and systems engineering teams to address technical challenges and build simulation architectures.
- Prepare technical reports, document software designs, and present technical findings to team members and government sponsors.
- Build collaborative relationships with government sponsors, industry partners, and interdisciplinary resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Experience with at least one modern programming language such as C++, Python, Rust, C#, or Java.
- Knowledge of modeling and simulation, full-stack software development, software development, and/or DevSecOps.
- Experience applying systems engineering and modern software engineering practices.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies, solve evolving technical problems, and work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong technical communication skills, including technical report writing and briefings.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government security clearance and be a U.S. citizen for clearance eligibility.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, active Secret clearance, military simulation experience, discrete event or Monte Carlo simulation experience, web application development, geospatial data integration, and 3D asset or game-engine workflow experience.
- Preferred programming language experience includes Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, C#, Python, Go, and Rust.
