Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and integration environments for industrial PC, PLC, and embedded products.
- Design and maintain automated system, integration, regression, stability, performance, security, interface, and hardware-in-the-loop tests.
- Develop scripts, test utilities, dashboards, documentation, quality metrics, and scalable automation frameworks.
- Analyze pipeline and test failures, support root-cause analysis, and improve product quality, test coverage, and test stability.
- Contribute to microcontroller software, embedded Linux, drivers, kernel configuration, or other low-level software as project needs require.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, embedded software, and project management teams on test strategies and integration challenges.
- Promote continuous improvement that improves development efficiency, product reliability, and customer value.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with CI/CD practices, test automation, automated test frameworks, and modern development tools.
- Strong scripting and programming skills, preferably in Python, C/C++, Bash, or related languages.
- Solid Linux knowledge and experience in Linux-based development environments.
- Understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, hardware interfaces, and x86- or ARM-based platforms.
- Analytical, hands-on problem-solving approach and willingness to use agile, DevOps, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded Linux, Linux driver development, kernel configuration, low-level software development, HIL testing, industrial automation, industrial PCs, PLCs, embedded hardware, embedded security or reliability testing, test reporting dashboards, quality metrics, and scalable automation frameworks.
- German language skills are preferred.
