Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and integration environments for industrial PC, PLC, and embedded products.
- Design and implement automated system, integration, regression, stability, performance, security, interface, and hardware-in-the-loop tests.
- Develop scripts, test utilities, dashboards, documentation, test reporting, quality metrics, and scalable automation frameworks.
- Analyze pipeline and test failures, support root-cause analysis, and improve product quality, test coverage, and test stability with development teams.
- Contribute to microcontroller software and Linux low-level software and drivers as project requirements demand.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, embedded software, and project management teams to define test strategies and resolve integration challenges.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with CI/CD practices, test automation, automated test frameworks, and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Robot Framework, Docker, and Git.
- Strong scripting and programming skills, preferably in Python, C/C++, Bash, or related languages.
- Solid Linux knowledge and experience in Linux-based development environments.
- Understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, hardware interfaces, and x86- or ARM-based platforms.
- Analytical, hands-on problem-solving skills and willingness to work with agile, DevOps, and continuous improvement practices.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Preferred: experience with embedded Linux, Linux driver development, kernel configuration, low-level software, HIL testing, test infrastructure, industrial automation, industrial PCs, PLCs, embedded security or performance testing, dashboards, and scalable automation frameworks; German language skills are also preferred.
