Base Salary
$220k - $297k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and address key security gaps in Databricks infrastructure and services.
- Create the vision and define the strategy for privacy and data security.
- Represent the security engineering discipline throughout the organization and promote data-driven practices.
- Attract top security engineering talent from across the industry.
- Represent Databricks at academic and industry conferences and events.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience in data security or related areas, including expertise in two or more specified security domains.
- At least 15 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
- Experience leading across functional and organizational lines and communicating security concepts to senior leaders.
- Master's or Ph.D. in computer science or a related field.
- Experience building systems at large-scale internet companies is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills, bias to action, and commitment to high-quality solutions are expected.
