Base Salary

$144k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
  • Implement complex software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product managers to define, design, and ship features.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.
  • Participate in architecture, design, and pull-request reviews and provide technical guidance.
  • Document work, contribute to technical specifications, and identify process improvements.
  • Stay current with AWS technologies and emerging industry trends.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture.
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to understand their needs.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience with software design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 3 years of experience building complex software systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Preferred: knowledge of ML frameworks including JAX, PyTorch, vLLM, SGLang, Dynamo, TorchXLA, and TensorRT.
  • Preferred: knowledge of machine learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
  • Preferred: knowledge of Python and/or C++ programming.
