Base Salary

$120k - $120k/yr

Responsibilities

Own full-stack features from design through production, including API design, backend services, and maintainable UI components.
Build and maintain scalable, secure, and observable services, including APIs, background workers, authentication, and third-party integrations.
Develop polished, accessible, and performant UIs using modern React patterns.
Design and optimize persistence layers through schema design, indexing, query optimization, and caching strategies.
Ship tested code and own deployment flows, rollouts, and incident responses.
Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams through planning, design reviews, and execution.
Drive technical proposals, tradeoff analysis, and documentation.
Act as a product owner for the assigned domain, prioritizing customer value, delivery, and quality.
Improve the platform through code reviews, refactoring, and system improvements.

2–5 years of professional experience building production web applications across frontend and backend.
Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills with React.
Proficiency in at least one backend language or runtime: Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
Experience with API design and integration using REST or GraphQL.
Solid database knowledge, including relational databases, indexing, and query optimization; MySQL experience is preferred.
Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms for deploying, monitoring, and operating services.
Practical experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker containerization.
Strong debugging skills across user interfaces, APIs, and databases.
Clear communication and documentation habits, with a collaborative and low-ego mindset.
Familiarity with modern code editors such as VS Code or Cursor.
