Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements.
- Define Azure solution architectures for data platforms and data engineering projects.
- Maintain DevOps practices under the “You build IT, You run IT” model.
- Support testing, production deployment, and solution documentation.
- Perform technology monitoring and maintain relationships with technology vendors.
- Provide technical guidance, recommendations, certifications guidance, and code reviews to team members.
- Write technical articles and experience reports.
- Contribute to Agile, product-oriented data and solution delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s-plus-five-year degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent field.
- At least six years of experience in a similar position, including proven experience as an architect.
- Strong command of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Knowledge or mastery of Microsoft BI solutions including SSIS, SSAS, and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in at least one data modeling technique, such as Star Schema or Medallion architecture.
- Good knowledge of Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of DataOps and FinOps is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methods.
- Autonomy, organization, communication skills, team orientation, and a product and solution mindset.
