Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver native iOS solutions for Canadian Mobile Banking projects.
- Build, maintain, and integrate reusable frameworks and modules using modular architecture.
- Develop responsive and adaptive screens with AutoLayout, accessibility support, animations, and web integrations.
- Use Swift Concurrency, Async/Await, Combine, MVVM, and protocol-oriented programming patterns.
- Write comprehensive unit, snapshot, and integration-related tests and maintain high code reliability and coverage.
- Debug performance bottlenecks using Xcode Instruments and apply efficient solutions.
- Collaborate through peer code reviews, pair programming, collective code ownership, and technical documentation.
- Work primarily onsite at a TD location in Toronto for meetings, team events, and team experiences.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate, preferably in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic background.
- At least 3 years of software development experience and 1–3+ years of Swift experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing iOS applications with SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Experience with multithreaded applications, Swift Concurrency, Async/Await, Combine, MVVM, and protocol-oriented programming.
- Experience with unit testing using Swift Testing and XCTest, plus Xcode Instruments.
- Strong working knowledge of WKWebView and SFSafariViewController for responsive web integrations using SSO patterns and best practices.
- Experience with accessibility features, Objective-C, Jenkins, custom view animation, Swift Package Manager, snapshot testing, AutoLayout, Accessibility Inspector, and Git is preferred.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, technical documentation, and peer code review skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a knowledge-sharing team environment.
