Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Support customers after go-live with Charles River Investment Management Solution implementations.
- Define, analyze, and evaluate customer requirements and provide product expertise and consultative guidance.
- Configure and tune the application to customers’ business and technical needs.
- Coordinate and manage customer support issues and assist with basic project management for services and small projects.
- Educate users on CRIMS functionality, implementation methodologies, and operational best practices.
- Monitor customer requirements and identify potential product enhancements and marketplace trends.
- Document and communicate product improvements and customer-specific requirements.
- Communicate software defects clearly, support defect resolution, and validate resulting fixes.
- Review product documentation for errors and suggest corrections and improvements.
- Provide informal customer-specific training to end users.
- Build effective customer relationships and communicate plans, issues, and concerns to clients and internal teams.
- Travel to client sites throughout the United States and Canada and work on-site with clients up to 50%.
Requirements
- Front-office trading or buy-side experience is required.
- At least three years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting mission-critical financial solutions.
- Experience implementing or supporting front-, middle-, or back-office investment management systems.
- Experience in a bank, hedge fund, asset manager, or wealth management firm is especially valuable.
- Hands-on experience with investment management software, preferably an order management and compliance system.
- Substantive knowledge of fixed income or equity financial instruments, with understanding of investment or wealth management workflows, derivatives, and foreign exchange instruments.
- Familiarity with multi-tier technical architectures, relational database structures, SQL, FIX, and reporting tools.
- Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, analytical, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Four-year degree in business or a technical field such as Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- An advanced degree or industry certification such as the CFA is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and remotely from clients.
- Ability to travel to client sites throughout the United States and Canada.
