Base Salary
$139k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic AI solutions, including autonomous agents, skills, tool-use patterns, and multi-step automation workflows.
- Develop AI-powered enterprise applications using Flask/Python backends and React frontends.
- Deploy containerized applications to Azure Container Apps and maintain MySQL schemas, SQL, and ETL pipelines.
- Implement end-to-end data, automation, and AI solutions across multiple codebases.
- Work within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, branch protection policies, and Git workflows.
- Provide technical direction, conduct code reviews and pair programming, and mentor onshore and offshore developers.
- Establish development standards for branching, pull requests, testing, and deployments.
- Drive delivery timelines, participate in discovery and requirements gathering, and take scoped work through production.
- Ensure applications meet governance, compliance, privacy, and security requirements through code quality and testing.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding as the engineering function grows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience with Python/Flask and React or equivalent modern frameworks.
- Practical experience designing and building agentic AI workflows with LLM platforms such as Claude or OpenAI.
- Daily proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Strong experience with Azure, particularly Azure Container Apps, Key Vault, and containerized deployments.
- Expert-level SQL experience and hands-on relational database administration, schema design, and performance optimization; MySQL preferred, with PostgreSQL or equivalent accepted.
- Experience managing Git workflows, branch protection, pull-request promotion flows, and merge conflicts.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Experience developing ETL pipelines with Azure Data Factory or equivalent platforms.
- API development and integration experience, including REST, webhooks, OAuth, and SCIM flows.
- Experience leading or mentoring a small distributed development team.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and iterative delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise IAM experience with Okta, SCIM provisioning, or Entra ID; Docker and Azure certifications; AI platform certifications; data modeling and enterprise analytics experience; compliance-sensitive application delivery; and DevOps, DataOps, infrastructure-as-code, or configuration-management knowledge.
