Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable deployment pipelines across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management for consistent delivery environments.
- Optimize and standardize deployment workflows for repeatable releases across product and customer requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and reliability across distributed systems and complex integrations.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams on deployment strategies, architecture, security requirements, and operational practices.
Requirements
- Understanding and experience with release engineering and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Experience with developer tools including GitHub and on-premises Azure DevOps.
- Implementation experience with microservices, containers, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience delivering high-quality and consistent systems and environments for development teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: software development experience in at least one object-oriented language, such as Java, Python, C#, C++, or Go.
- Preferred: experience with multiple cloud vendors, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, managed Kubernetes services, AKS, EKS, and configuration control of development environments.
- Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods, handle technical equipment, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and work in laboratory, workshop, office, or hybrid environments; travel may be required.
- Must meet stated U.S. Government international trade authorization requirements.
