Responsibilities
- Influence the architectural evolution and technical direction of Google Cloud source code management and software supply chain security infrastructure.
- Develop AI-first capabilities that allow agents to orchestrate software development lifecycle workflows.
- Design and develop managed software supply chain security services involving systems development and identity security.
- Partner with Cloud foundations teams to build robust platforms meeting enterprise and public-sector security and compliance requirements.
- Partner with Product Managers and technical leads to prioritize opportunities and distribute work efficiently.
- Participate in Cloud Source on-call rotations and help maintain system reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- 5 years of experience with Cloud APIs or secure, multi-tenant cloud infrastructure environments.
- 2 years of experience with software supply chain security, OpenID Connect, IAM policy delegation, or cryptographic signing frameworks.
- Experience programming in Go.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud Run.
- Preferred: Experience with FedRAMP High, IL5, or ITAR compliance frameworks.
- Preferred: Experience with Terraform for automated multi-regional resource provisioning.
- Preferred: Direct experience integrating LLMs or AI agents into developer tools and workflows.
Benefits
- Canada base salary is CAD $216000–$221000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
