Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement firmware in C for ARM Cortex-M embedded systems.
- Develop embedded device drivers for hardware and peripherals.
- Implement USB, I2C, SPI, CAN, and TCP/IP communications functionality.
- Use Python to generate C code and develop firmware testing and validation tools.
- Develop network applications in C, C++, or Python for embedded Linux systems.
- Participate in subsystem and system-level design verification, planning, and testing.
- Collaborate with test engineers on production processes and manufacturing issues.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of embedded-systems firmware development experience.
- Experience with C development and debugging techniques.
- Experience with Subversion or Git version control systems.
- Knowledge of C++, Python, object-oriented programming, data structures, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP network programming.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux.
