Base Salary
$87k - $137k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting scientific research and business operations.
- Collaborate with software engineers, scientists, and product teams to deliver practical software solutions.
- Apply cloud platforms, AI-assisted development tools, web frameworks, and data platforms.
- Contribute to applications using AWS, React, Python, Databricks, Power Platform, GitHub, and SharePoint.
- Support adoption of AI-enabled solutions and evaluate emerging technologies for business value.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to Agile product team planning, development, and delivery activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, including programming, testing, debugging, and version control.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and technical communication skills.
- Preferred experience may come from coursework, internships, co-op programs, research projects, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
- Exposure to Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, AWS, Azure, Databricks, GitHub, or Power Platform is preferred.
- Interest in AI, data analytics, cloud computing, or scientific computing is preferred.
- Background or interest in life sciences, bioinformatics, computational chemistry, or related scientific disciplines is preferred.
