Responsibilities
- Analyze complex customer requirements for electrical power supply systems.
- Develop comprehensive solution and system architectures for industrial, utility, data-center, and critical-infrastructure applications.
- Conduct technical workshops and consulting discussions with customers, EPCs, engineering firms, and planning partners.
- Define system boundaries, interfaces, and integration concepts.
- Create technical solution concepts and support bids and tender processes.
- Prepare effort estimates, technical proposals, risk assessments, technical evaluations, and structured project scopes.
- Present and defend proposed solutions to technical and commercial decision-makers.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, engineering, and international project teams.
- Hand over won projects to project management, engineering, and delivery organizations.
Requirements
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or a comparable discipline.
- Several years of power-system engineering experience with expertise in grid calculation, protection engineering, grid stability, grid integration, and planning and optimization of electrical power systems.
- Knowledge of load flow, short-circuit analysis, protection coordination, arc flash, grid stability, grid integration, motor starting, and dynamic simulation.
- Experience developing complex technical solution and system architectures.
- Knowledge of modern power-system analysis and simulation tools is advantageous.
- Experience with utilities, industrial facilities, data centers, microgrids, or comparable critical infrastructure, including solutions for green hydrogen and complex industrial power systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert technical requirements into robust solution concepts and commercial proposals.
- Confident communication with customers, consulting partners, and decision-makers.
- Very good German and English skills and willingness to travel within the DACH region.
